Dry frizzy hair, chemical heavy products, plastic faff & misinformation — there was a severe quality drought in the care of textured hair. 

And then, Crolles was born. 

Simple, unscented, paper packaged: a shampoo bar to heal all the damage done to textured hair by sticky, scented, bottled false promises. Crolles + hair + water whips into a soft white lather to give curls & coils quality nourishment, and the chance to return to their natural beauty. 

Co-founded by two textured hair visionaries, Crolles emerged directly from the experience of women who know. With her finance background, Shanira provided the business expertise to ensure strong production infrastructure and slick operations, whilst Fatima — a physicist with an entrepreneurial spirit — supplied the crucial scientific knowledge. 

After months of meticulous research and planning, Fatima and Shanira hit the lab and got creative. Patient weeks of experimenting and trialling eventually yielded the perfect blend of high quality oils for the launch-ready bar. Or rather, three, adapted to a range of curl types.

Ever since, word spread and the Crolles bar has become a dependable resource for healthy, clean curls & coils amongst the textured hair community. The popularity of Crolles rests on its commitment to base layer beauty: ensuring foundational, quality nourishment, suitable for all.
